The human smile generously offers a unique charm, thanks to the invaluable structures we possess: teeth (as I often say: don’t hesitate to acquire semi-precious stones; embrace your teeth—they are worth far more than they appear, and they come neatly arranged, ready to wear).
Dental organs, as chosen energetic and informational repositories, are highly sensitive to both internal and external environments.
They function somewhat like double-permeable biomembranes.
The dental fluid flows in a sort of flux and reflux, from the inside out, from the center to the periphery, serving a purpose, carrying meaning, and fulfilling purifying, nourishing, repairing, and informing roles.
Salivary fluid can be absorbed inward, from the outside toward the center, when these "waters" contain what the structures of the tooth perceive as an immediate need, with the external resources often being the quickest to access.
However, these natural, orderly mechanisms can be easily disrupted by a multitude of factors.
In general, they function smoothly when the autonomic nervous system is tuned to the natural alternation between the parasympathetic (more specifically through the anterior branch of the vagus nerve) and the sympathetic systems.
When we operate predominantly in sympathetic mode or in the freeze response (parasympathetic, through the dorsal branch of the vagus nerve), teeth become peripheral organs, collateral and terminal, somewhat unimportant for survival.
If we remain in these states for a reasonable amount of time, the body has the "knowledge" to return to its baseline, to relaxation, and to repair.
Yet, both teeth and we, as a whole, too often live in unbalanced states, frequently dominated by the nervous energies of fear, worry, and generalized anxiety.
Like other organs, teeth inherently embody inclusion. (Central incisors, lateral incisors, canines, premolars—two families—and molars—three families—form a "world," a large oral family perfectly integrated into the whole: an ecosystem unto itself, a representation of human life in microbiological form.)
They do not exhibit "deafness" to the manifestations around them; instead, they serve something greater. As their keepers, we have a duty, beyond dedicated, attentive, daily care, to at least learn from them—to transform the status quo of our inability to perceive anything beyond the biases of our mental confirmations.
Although it is Black Friday season, and comfort may seem at hand, we cannot purchase epiphany at a discount, nor can we trade deafness for a state of satori, nor achieve the touch of a Midas with the click of a product.
If you’re familiar with the "Gene Keys" system, you might have noticed that the Sun is currently transiting through the final sequences of Gene Key 43, which, in the shadow vibration, speaks of this deafness, survival, and capitulation.
The Earth simultaneously activates its manifestation partner, the genetic programming partner, Gene Key 23, with the shadow of complexity, fragmentation, and division of the world.
They reminded me of a concept I encountered years ago while attending management school—a concept that could easily be understood using the oral cavity model and the genetic tandem 43-23.
It is called VUCA.
Initially conceived as an American military concept, VUCA was later translated into strategic leadership, business, and education to prepare management for uncertainty. It now seems applicable to the world’s current state of mind.
Today’s world is a VUCA world, characterized by:
Volatility
Uncertainty
Complexity
Ambiguity
I see its echoes directly in the daily coaching sessions with my clients.
The polarized human mind feels uncomfortable in this VUCA state.
What seems certain today may not be tomorrow; artificial intelligence and robots are imminently manifesting beside us; yesterday’s technology is obsolete today; information deemed credible a week ago is now proven false; medical science feels disoriented; we’ve relied on fossil fuels, but today we have hybrid or electric cars, and tomorrow, those powered by hydrogen; traffic in large cities is a daily challenge;
Biocenosis seems increasingly emaciated; cryptocurrencies allow anonymous ownership and transfer of value; socio-political dynamics appear to toss finances and the economy into an unpredictable future; democracy struggles to breathe, swinging back from a long period of left-wing pacifist, environmentalist, and liberty-focused movements to a right-wing approach that, while not extreme, feels instinctual and impulsive; neither school nor family seems to have satisfying answers to children’s curious and bold questions; the educational process results more in uniformity, dulling the "creative rebel"; there’s an overabundance of therapies, yet depression and anxiety cases are steadily increasing; manipulative tools in digital environments have reached an unsettling "fineness"; overstimulation of the psychophysiological system on multiple levels in the aberrant pursuit of "happiness" and success; the specter of unconventional, atypical conflict looms on the horizon, and so on.
Can we reconfigure VUCA into a new world?
A world more settled, if not more certain?
Clearer, if not simpler?
More coherent, if not kinder?
Furthermore, we are in the cold season, experiencing significant temperature variations between indoor and outdoor environments. We lack natural light, possibly physical movement, and proper hydration. Combined with the VUCA state, these factors constantly disrupt the physiology of the brain, the nervous system, and the endocrine, immune, mental, and emotional systems.
From my humble corner, I hope so—not by gazing at what we cannot change but by:
Dedicating focused attention inward,
Constantly balancing the noisy or anxious tone of the animal mind, the restrained language, or inner fragmentation through personal coaching processes,
Becoming a detached witness, an unbiased observer of the present moment,
Supporting ourselves physically with moderation, avoiding exaggeration and excesses; in this way, we also support others and "brighten our teeth".
Paying attention to nervous system modulation by awakening to Reality with a "R," not to an average between what the mind already knows and what it expects,
Stretching hydration across the fascia and the overly "tense" neuronal connections in our personal vision maps,
Adopting a mature, responsible attitude and critical thinking,
Allowing the "birth" of the creative adult voice,
Daily mental flexibility and training through specific processes,
Expanding inner emotional spaciousness,
Collaborating,
Constantly challenging our awakened perception,
Realizing the Self as a harmonious integration of Spirit and Body, Masculine and Feminine principles, Animus and Anima,
Anchoring in the truth of today’s genetics: "You are what you are, and nothing can ever be added to or removed from your nature, regardless of the experiences you go through." – Richard Rudd, Gene Key 43
Let’s not forget the smile, all right?
P.S. I would be delighted if you feel inspired to contribute to homeostatic measures—I’ve only listed those honored by today’s inspiration!
